Hey Toonsters! It’s me, Julie Kitsulie, the Chaos Creator behind Kitsulie Studios!

Today I’m answering a question I get all the time in the creative world:

"Sooo… what are you working on these days?"

The short answer? A lot! (As is usually the case with us creative types.)

But if you’re up for the long answer, awesome, keep reading!

With all the art, writing, voice acting, and constant planning in motion, it’s hard to sum it up quickly without getting hit with a wave of “helpful” advice. 😅 ("You know what you should do..." or "Why don't you work on...") That’s why I made this post. Now I’ve got a link ready for anyone genuinely curious about what I’m cooking up. Thanks for tooning in!

🎬 What is Kitsulie Studios?

Kitsulie Studios is my main creative focus and full-time passion (While working around the ol' day job of course.) It’s my personal studio brand where I bring surreal stories, cartoons, and colorful chaos to life. I'm drawing and animating every single day, creating everything from fanart and character crossovers to original surreal illustrations and short animated content, especially ones featuring my avatar!

After many years of juggling a full-time job, house responsibilities, and picking up every side gig under the sun, from balloon decor to face-painting or trivia hosting (I even considered starting an event biz!), I finally realized that instead of stretching myself between tons of huge things, I wanted to put my creative energy where my heart is. That meant focusing on Kitsulie Studios. My own art and stories.

Of course, I still love collaborating, guest spots, and the occasional oddball gig, if it serves my time and energy budget well! But my creative HQ is here now, and I’m fully committing.

🐾 Femme Furtale

Femme Furtale is a nostalgic slice-of-life sitcom starring a group of furry roommates navigating friendship, chaos, and city life in an 80s-inspired, 90s-nostalgia world. Lots of animal puns and shenanigans friends-style.

🕷 Tangled Web Library

Tangled Web Library is an adult animated horror anthology hosted by the eerie and elegant Madame Eiree, a spectral spider who loves aerial dancing on her web and spins chilling tales about the bug world. Her lackeys (and victims?) help her act out macabre, poetic little stories. It's creepy, campy, and crawly in the best way.

💉 Fan Animatics in Progress

I’ve also got soo many fan animations and animatic ideas for fandom fun, because sometimes my brain latches onto a character or idea and must animate it. (Especially when it comes to a fun crossover!) My favorite one I'm working on now is the one featuring Vox from Hazbin Hotel as the Dentist from Little Shop of Horrors:
