Hey Toonsters, Happy October!

Time for a little update (and to keep myself on track with this blogging habit, even if I missed last week 🙃). I’ve been a bit distracted by all the studio fun lately, but if you missed it, check out "Kitsulie's Updates" to see what I’ve been working on!

Now we’re officially in the most wonderful, spooky time of the year, and I couldn’t be more excited. Lately, I’ve been deep into the Vox Dentist Animatic, and my goal is to have it wrapped up this month- ideally dropping on October 22nd, just ahead of Hazbin Hotel Season 2’s release on the 29th. Right now, I’d say I’m a little over halfway done. A lot of shots are already thumbnailed and laid out, and i’s been such a blast drawing Vox! The fact that my favorite Hazbin villain shares a connection with my favorite Little Shop villain (thanks to the amazing Christian Borle) is just too perfect!

And of course, it’s been a hype-filled season for Hellaverse fans- between the new Hazbin Hotel season 2 trailer drop, the new single (With the Vees singing!) and Helluva Boss launching their Halloween merch, I'm loving all the fun n spooky crossover energy!

Plus! How cool was it that Stolas got a bunch of Little Shop of Horrors merch? Now my favorite Helluva character, too? I love it! I knew I had to reference him in the animatic- I whipped this one up yesterday:

I know I've got a lot more ideas to do with all these characters. I love crossovers!

Originally, I was gonna release the Animatic on Little Shop of Horrors Day (The 23rd Day of the Month of September) But I wanted a little extra time to have fun with it and add stuff. So I dropped this teaser trailer instead:

It's coming along and I'm pretty excited to show the full thing once it's completed!
