Hey Toonsters!
Happy Friday! I’m working hard to get back into my blogging habit and almost forgot this week! I’ve got a few other drafts I’m polishing, so for now it’s just some updates on what I’m working on and what’s inspired me lately.
One of my favorite moments over the weekend was visiting Delman Circus. I happened to drive by an actual circus tent at the local mall, looked it up online, and snagged tickets for just $10 each! I love the circus so much. There was firedancing magic, Lyra aerial dancing, costumed mascots, hilarious clowns (one I definitely have to draw, his name is Pipe!) They really know how to put on a show!
I also celebrated Toy Story’s 30th anniversary with a theater viewing...can you believe it’s been that long?? I’ve been binge-watching all the movies this week (Except for 4... We don't talk about that one). And, oh! New Futurama dropped on Hulu too, so you might see some fanart coming soon.
Getting into the spooky season spirit drawing Babyface from Toy Story! I'm playing with all sorts of new techniques, lighting effects, gradient maps, rendering and more to really push my art. I'm having a lot of fun with it!
Ever since getting hooked back on Femme Furtale, I’ve been obsessed with the story and characters I'll have all the character sheets done soon - here’s a peek at a couple of them now- My OG girls!
And don’t forget: Little Shop of Horrors day is next week, September 23rd! I’ll be dropping a trailer for a certain animatic I’m excited about- The Vox-Dentist crossover!

This weekend will be a lovely reset with more creative studio time and relaxing hobbies.
Don't forget, rest and hydration are super important! Rest is just as important as all that hard work and you deserve a treat. :)
